From Computers to Children’s Books

I’ve spent decades working with computers and technology, and I even had the opportunity to work in the space industry. But writing has opened up a whole new world for me.

My mother and I began creating a children’s book in memory of my nephew, who died at just 19 years old. We used illustrations inspired by his pictures to celebrate his life in a story called Caterpillar Boy. That experience inspired me to keep writing, imagining, and sharing stories.

What I Love to Write

I enjoy children’s stories, Bible-inspired storytelling that connects Scripture with everyday life, science fiction, space and technology, and true-life stories. My faith inspires me to explore what it means to live with a living God today—not just to read about events from long ago.

Having worked in the space industry, I’d love to write about space exploration. One dream is to work with astronauts on authorized biographies that share their experiences in their own words. That’s an aspiration, not a project or collaboration that’s been arranged.

Stories in Progress

Our story projects are at different stages, from early drafts to illustrated works being revised. Caterpillar Boy is a meaningful family project, and Saddle Down is another children’s story in development. You can read a preview of Saddle Down on the Storybook page.

Published Books

We’ll list finished books here as they become available. For now, please enjoy the previews and updates as the stories take shape.

Thanks for joining me on this new adventure. — Kevin
